TRANSOILCOLD2021 Special Issue calls for papers

Cold regions account for 50% of the world's total land area and cover large areas in the northern hemisphere, including Canada, Alaska, Finland, Norway, Sweden, vast portion of China and Russia, and all the northern tier of the United States. Transportation infrastructures in cold regions face great technical challenges due to ground freeze-thaw or permafrost degradation. New transportation infrastructure on embankments, such as high-speed railways on slab tracks or highways, requires high geometry standards.
The 5th International Symposium on Transportation Soil Engineering in Cold Regions (TRANSOILCOLD2021) will be held on November 12–14, 2021. This conference aims to provide an opportunity for researchers and practitioners in the transportation community to share the latest research advances and experiences in the construction and maintenance of transportation infrastructure in cold regions.

Submission Process:

SCAR operates an online submission and rigorous peer review system. To submit a manuscript, please visit SCAR's Homepage www.scar.ac.cn or directly visiting http://www.scar.ac.cn/hhkxen/ch/index.aspx, viewing Guideline to get more submission details. As a double-blind peer review journal, The manuscript files without personal information is demanded to be uploaded to 'main documents', manuscript with personal information is demanded to be uploaded to 'title page'. The Submission Column “TRANSOILCOLD2021” should be chosen for getting quick publishing access. The signed Copyright Transfer Form (Download on Journal’s Home Page) should be scanned and uploaded as 'Supplementary files not for review' with the online submission of your article. Submission of a manuscript will be held to imply that it contains original unpublished work and not yet submitted to elsewhere.
